Señor Rosa is my little corner of the internet: part journal, part comic strip, part portfolio, and part laboratory for ideas that sounded interesting enough to try.

I work professionally in technology, but most of what you see here started with curiosity: learning a new tool, solving a real problem, telling a true story, or seeing whether AI could help turn an idea into something useful.

I'm an IT engineer, Army veteran, gamer, gardener, traveler, musician, and lifelong student. I'm happiest when I'm learning something new and turning that learning into something I can actually see, use, share, or hand to somebody else.

Señor Rosa is where those threads meet: technology, creativity, travel, storytelling, experiments, and the occasional idea that gets a little out of hand.

Curiosity → something real That is basically the operating system.

I built Señor Rosa as a personal publishing platform for true stories, comics, travel, language learning, and small web experiments. It has become the place where I learn by shipping: working in VS Code, managing changes with Git, deploying through Netlify, building reusable content structures, and iterating quickly with AI as a development partner.

The point isn't pretending every experiment is a finished product. The point is taking an idea far enough that it becomes real, usable, and worth improving.

A local small-business owner told me their biggest challenge wasn't technology. It was finding leads. I started there.

I built a practical workflow around public procurement and contract-award data to identify larger contractors that could be worth approaching for subcontracting work. AI helped turn large tables of public information into a smaller, actionable list that a business owner could actually work from.

The project expanded into a simple training website and hands-on guidance for using AI, managing their web presence, and generating additional leads independently.
